Over recent months, our team has been working on the transformation of three industrial sites, each ranging between 1,600 and 3,500 square metres. These projects, located across established industrial estates, represent a significant commitment to maximising the potential of existing assets while aligning with modern demands for safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Each site presented unique opportunities and challenges, but our approach remained consistent: to work closely with local planning authorities and client stakeholders to unlock the full potential of the land and buildings. Through collaborative dialogue and strategic development planning, we have been able to enhance site layouts, optimise space usage, and prepare the buildings for a variety of modern uses — including commercial units, warehousing and storage, and distribution facilities.

Contribute to the creation of new job opportunities and revenue streams for the local economy whilst developing flexible assets to meet the evolving needs of tenants and investors.

A central focus of our work has been on designing and refurbishing building layouts to ensure maximum operational efficiency. This has involved rethinking internal arrangements, access routes, and service zones to streamline functionality and movement within and around each site.

Upgrades to the external building fabric have also been priority. We’ve improved thermal performance and aesthetic appeal through the installation of new facade and roof systems, flashings and material arrangements — ensuring these buildings are functional and aesthetically appealing, and energy-conscious.

A critical part of our refurbishment programme has been the comprehensive removal of asbestos-containing materials from the premises. By addressing this legacy issue, we’ve created safer environments for all building users and ensured full regulatory compliance moving forward.

Further improvements have focused on reducing the environmental footprint of the sites. This includes the installation of energy-saving LED lighting throughout, alongside the integration of renewable energy technologies such as solar PV systems. These measures are designed to help offset operational energy use and support landlords in meeting their own carbon reduction goals whilst controlling overheads.

As we deliver these exciting projects, we’re also looking ahead to what’s next — and we’re particularly excited about an upcoming waterfront development, we are looking forward to sharing more in the coming months.
