At Porter Robson, we’re delighted to share a series of recent successes that reflect our commitment to delivering high-quality, value-enhancing solutions for our clients. From planning approvals to appeal wins, our team has worked closely with clients, planners, and partners to help unlock the potential of a range of sites and proposals.

Here’s a look at some of the highlights:

NMA Approval to Improve Site Layout

We successfully secured approval for a Non-Material Amendment (NMA). The approved changes improve the site layout, enhancing both functionality and overall value — an important outcome for our client following their acquisition of the site.

Planning Approval for Major Extension

Planning permission was granted for an extension that transforms a property into a substantial 5-bedroom, 5-ensuite dwelling. The design significantly improves internal space and offers high-quality living accommodation to meet modern family needs.

Appeal Win with Richard Stone Planning

We were delighted to achieve a successful appeal win working in partnership with Richard Stone Planning. This positive outcome will allow for the delivery of two detached, two-bedroom holiday lets near Selsey, bringing new tourism opportunities to the area.

Appeal Win: Greenhouse to Commercial (Class R) Use

Working alongside Andrew Burgess Planning, we secured a key appeal win. The project involves the change of use of an existing greenhouse to commercial use under Class R — unlocking a creative reuse of the site and supporting local business opportunities.

These successes highlight our collaborative approach, technical expertise, and determination to achieve positive results for our clients — whether through careful design, robust applications, or navigating the appeals process.

If you have a project in mind and would like to discuss how we can help, please get in touch — we’d be delighted to assist.
